Frankie Goes To Doggy School!
One day Barb was taking Frankie to school. When Frankie got there, three dogs ran up to her. They started to bark at Frankie. Frankie heard the words, “Do you want to play with us?” One of the dog’s was a Jack Russell Terrier named Jersey, a Chihuahua named Cinnamon and a Doberman Pincher named Brownie. They wanted Frankie to come and play soccer with them. They didn’t realize she had wheels on her back legs. When they noticed, they said ‘You can’t play with us” and they ran off to go play soccer.
Barb also heard the barks, but when she went to check it out, the dogs were gone. Frankie was very sad. Barb asked Frankie, “Why are you so sad?” Frankie cried, “I met some other dogs, but because I have wheels, they didn’t want to play with me”.
Barb said, “Don’t worry Frankie, we will show them that you are same even if you have wheels”. “Let’s go get a soccer ball and show them what you can do”.
So Frankie and Barb went to the park where the other dogs were playing soccer. Frankie was really good on her wheels, better than the three dogs. The dogs wondered why they had turned Frankie away. The dogs went over and apologized to Frankie for making fun of Frankie's wheels. “If you think about it, they are really cool.” they said. Frankie replied, “Thanks! You girls are really cool too.” From Barbs point of view they were getting along.
The next day the three dogs came over to play for the day! They played soccer all day long and Frankie’s team won the game. “Maybe we can make up a dog soccer league!!” said Frankie.
