Frankie's Airplane Adventure by Naomi
Frankie and her mom were off to New York to get an award for best animal inspiration story of the year. Frankie loved awards! She just couldn’t wait to be in the center of Newark Square. When they were driving to the airport, they passed farms and old abandon motels. They drove past a pet shop. Frankie’s mom stopped and went in and bought four treats and a chew toy for Frankie and a coffee for herself. Frankie ate one on the way to the airport, and decided to save the rest for the plane. It was a two hour wait to get on the airplane. Frankie got scared when the big voice came ot of the speaker and it said ‘’THE NEW YORK AIRPLANE IS BOARDING NOW! THE NEW YORK AIRPLANE IS BOREDING.” Frankie’s mom carried her to the plane. Frankie’s mom said to bark to get to ride first class. Frankie thought she said first glass and flinched back because she didn’t want to ride on glass. She could fall through!
Frankie accidentally rolled backwards in to a crying lady. She said to Frankie, “You are the cutest little dog I have ever seen.” Frankie’s mom said thank you to her and began to talk to the lady when they had found their seats. Frankie noitced a curtain up front. Frankie went up to go see it and inside was so pretty. Frankie’s mom had been talking to that lady for a long time,about an hour. She knew that Frankie had gone to explore the airplane. All of a sudden, Frankie heard a big voice that came through the speaker. It said, “PLEASE EXIT IN AN ORDERLY FASHION. WE ARE EXPERIENCING SOME TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES AND WE WILL BE CRASH LANDING. GO AND GET SOME PARACHUTES AND JUMP FOR YOUR LIFE”
Frankie realized that she was all alone in the front of the plane. She wheeled out of the curtain as fast as she could. She saw someone push her mom out the door. Luckily her mom was wearing a parachute. Frankie went to go check on her by sticking her head out the door of the airplane. She almost fell out but the lady from before caught her by the wheel strap. She clipped Frankie on to her parachute and jumped out . Frankie screamed in my head . The fall hurt her ears. Her ears were flinging up into her face . She pushed her ears out of so that she could see what was going on. She had caught up with her mom. The lady unclipped her and clipped Frankie on to her mom. Frankie and her mom were flying for about more 2 minutes when they hit the ground. It was just a little harder than a feather hitting the ground but not as hard as a rock. They started running because the plane exploded and pieces were flying every where. Soon, Frankie and her mom were safe under the shelter of a rock. Later Frankie’s mom and the nice lady went to check if it was safe. It was safe! Frankie, her mom an the lady walked as it was the only thing they could do. Eventually they found a motel. Frankie’s mom said that they were in Paris because she saw the top of the Eiffel Tower.
Lucikly, there was a train station near by as they did not want to go on an airplane! They esnded up going on a train to the award show. They took the nice lady named Shirley with them and gave her an award for saving Frankie’s life and bringing he to her mommy again. Frankie’s mom and Shirley became great friends.
